Purpose: Records your privacy choices (analytics and advertising measurement on or off) so the banner is not shown again and your choices are honoured on every page and visit.

Type: Browser localStorage entry (not a cookie).

Duration: Six months, after which you will be asked again; you can change your choice sooner via the Privacy Choices link in the footer.

Controls: Use the Privacy Choices link in the footer to change your choices, or clear this website's storage in your browser to remove the record.

Essential — enquiry submission

Name / Provider: Enquiry submission endpoint on this website; backend hosted by Lovable Cloud (Supabase).

Purpose: Receives and stores your enquiry and any files you upload so we can respond and prepare a quotation. Enquiry records and uploaded files are stored in a private backend and are not publicly accessible.

Category: Essential — enquiry submission, quotation submission, file upload.

First / third party: First-party endpoint; server-side processing.

Duration: Not a browser cookie or storage item. Server-side records are retained in line with our Privacy Policy.

Controls: Contact info@forgeop.com.au to request access to, or deletion of, an enquiry record.

Essential — transactional email

Provider: Resend (server-side email delivery, invoked only when you submit an enquiry).

Purpose: Sends your enquiry to Westforge Works and, where appropriate, a confirmation email to you.

Category: Essential — enquiry response.

First / third party: Third-party service invoked from our server; does not place cookies in your browser.

Duration: Not applicable — no browser cookies are set.

Functional — font delivery

Provider: Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com).

Purpose: Delivers the website's typefaces. Requesting a font file transmits standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to the font provider.

Category: Functional — visual presentation. No advertising or analytics cookies are set by this website through Google Fonts.

First / third party: Third-party font delivery.

Duration: Not applicable — no browser cookies are set by us for this purpose.

Essential — hosting and infrastructure

Provider: Lovable hosting infrastructure.

Advertising measurement — Meta Pixel

Provider: Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram).

Purpose: Records page views and completed enquiry submissions so we can measure the effectiveness of Meta advertising. Meta may use this information in accordance with its own policies.

Consent: The Meta Pixel is not loaded at all unless you allow Marketing.

Advertising measurement — Google Ads

Provider: Google (Google Ads).

Purpose: Measures completed enquiry submissions that may relate to Google advertising, and may record visits so Google can show relevant Westforge Works ads (remarketing). Google may use this information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Category: Advertising / marketing measurement.

Consent: Google Ads measurement and remarketing cookies are not used unless you allow Marketing.

Search optimisation — Search Atlas

Provider: Search Atlas.

Purpose: Loads a script that helps manage on-page search content such as titles and descriptions.

Category: Functional — search optimisation.

First / third party: Third-party script.

Enquiry source — first-party local storage

Name: wf_attribution_v1

Provider: Westforge Works (first party)

Purpose: Remembers how you first arrived at the website (for example, campaign tags, advertising click identifiers, landing page and referring website) so this can be included with an enquiry if you submit one.

Category: Analytics — enquiry attribution. Not sent to Google or Meta.

Type: Browser localStorage entry (not a cookie).

Duration: Up to 90 days, or until you clear site data.

4. Managing cookies and storage

You can control and delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. The notice shown on your first visit records your acknowledgement only; it does not turn analytics or advertising measurement on or off. You can limit these technologies by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser, using browser privacy or tracking-protection settings, or using the controls offered by Google and Meta. Essential technologies cannot be disabled through this website because the site cannot function correctly without them.

If the technologies used on this website change, this Cookie Notice will be updated.
