Overview
Not every worn or damaged component needs to be replaced. Westforge works with commercial and industrial customers to assess whether repair, refurbishment or recoating is a practical alternative — often at a fraction of the cost and lead time of a new item.
Repairs are approached honestly. If a component is not economical to repair, or if a modification would compromise its intended use, we say so and recommend the more appropriate path.
Where refurbishment is suitable, the work can combine metal repair, replacement components, surface preparation and recoating in one coordinated scope.

Can you assess a component before I commit to repair?+
Yes. Send photos and a short description first. If a physical assessment is needed we'll confirm the appropriate arrangement.
Do you offer structural certification for repaired items?+
Structural, load-bearing or safety-critical repairs are handled on a case-by-case basis and only where the appropriate design, sign-off and compliance can be arranged. We are direct about scope limits.
Can refurbished equipment be recoated in the same job?+
Yes — that's often the point. Combining metal work, surface preparation and coating in one job usually gives the best result and the cleanest lead time.
What if repair isn't the right answer?+
We'll say so, and where useful we can quote a replacement fabricated component instead.
